Claiming the title for the third time, the Media Unit of Mahamaya Girls’ College, Kandy proudly emerged as the Overall Champions of Swarna Panhida 2025, winning the Sri Lal Gomez Memorial Shield, at the Annual Media Day organized by the Media Unit of St. Sylvester’s College, Kandy.

Adding to this proud achievement, Hirandi Abeyratne secured the Lionel Fernando Memorial Shield for the Best English Announcer. This achievement reflects the dedication, creativity, and teamwork of our talented media enthusiasts who continue to bring pride to Mahamaya.
