NATURE CLUB

Soba Daham Sisu Hawla; The Nature Club of Mahamaya Girls’ College, the first club of the school has proudly established in 1977 with the
guidance of Mrs. M. Abeywickrama with the support from the founder members of the association, Mr. Duglas Ranasinghe, Mr. Sarath
Edirisooriya, Dr. Nihal Karunarathna with the permission of the principal Mrs. Lalitha Fernando.
Since 1977, we have been conducting Environmental Pioneer Programs, Hiking Competitions, Exploration Expeditions, Environmental
Protection Programs, and many more events with the help of the Central Environmental Authority, Wild Life Conservation Department, and
Youth Exploration Society.
