GIRL GUIDES ASSOCIATION

The Girl Guides Association of Mahamaya Girls’ College Kandy was started in 1951 under the guidance of Mrs.P.S.Thambugala with the intention of serving the country and helping girls to improve their skills and experience the society.

Achievements

•11th Kandy, Mahamaya Girls’ College girl guides won the overall championships in 33th & 34th Dehigama memorial orienteering competition in 2018 and 2019

•Also our senior girl guide D.M.C.Chathurya Dissanayake (President  2019/20 committe) had selected as the best hiker in 6th J.E.Seram memorial challange organized by Dharmaraja College scout troop

•In the year 2020 & 2021 Almost all the girl guides who applied for the President Guide Award were got qualified
