The Co-operative Society of Mahamaya Girls college Kandy was officially started in 1974/09/25. The founding members were fourteen.

ACHIEVEMENT

•Winning the first place in the island as the best school co-operative society in year 2002

•Kandy District successful school co-operative society won the second place in the competition to commemorate the 81st International Co-operative day 2003
