PHILATELIC SOCIETY

Philatelic society of Mahamaya Girls’ College Kandy was established to promote philately among school students. Philately is the study of postage stamps and postal history which also refers to the collection, appreciation and research activities on stamps and other philatelic products. Ambition of the society is to involve students in philately which helps them in categorising, counting skills, geographic awareness and spending free time.
